When Is Trundle Strongest?
The win rate runs highest in the opening minutes and eases off later, and games at this rank average around 28 minutes. Trundle wins by picking fights he cannot lose, so the plan is to abuse his dueling edge around objectives and early skirmishes and save the ultimate to neuter the enemy's key frontliner.
Trundle Item Build
Trundle is a dueling bruiser who steals the enemy tank's own stats and out-sustains anyone foolish enough to fight him one on one. The build mixes health and resistances with attack speed so his bite hurts, his domain heals him through trades, and his ultimate flips the biggest bruiser on the other team.
Best Trundle Runes
Lethal Tempo suits the way he grinds a fight down. Chomp steals attack damage while his frozen zone keeps him swinging, so the longer a duel runs the more the keystone stacks in his favor. Build the rest around sustain and dueling stats so he never has to leave a fight he is winning.

Trundle Skill Order
Chomp at one already takes attack damage off whoever he bites, Frozen Domain at two turns a patch of ground into extra attack speed and healing, and Pillar of Ice at three gives him terrain, so three points cover damage, sustain, and zoning.
Trundle Abilities
King's Tribute keeps him topped off through every skirmish, healing a chunk of an enemy's max health whenever one dies anywhere near him. Frozen Domain is more than a heal patch too, handing him move speed on top of the attack speed while he stands on it.

Trundle Matchups
Trundle wants a straight fight against a beefy, stat-heavy target he can bite down and rob with his ultimate, so single tanky bruisers are exactly his meal. Kiting ranged threats that never let him close, and poke that whittles him before the duel starts, are what actually give him problems.
