When an enemy champion dies near Lissandra, Iceborn Subjugation turns the corpse into a Frozen Thrall, slowing the survivors before it shatters for magic damage. Ice Shard fills the gaps, a spear that keeps going through its first target to chip and slow everyone behind it.

Respect Annie, Vex, and Hwei in the early game, since Lissandra comes online slowly and they can shove her off the wave before her combo bites. Her self-freeze ult flips a lot of those all-ins once she has it, so bait the dive and stasis out of it. Against Mel, Akali, and Ryze she gets to dictate, using the ice claw dash to catch them out and hand your jungler an easy gank.
