Welcome to our elo booster Zyra build, complete with runes, masteries, skill order and the item build. Since the Zyra rework has changed her kit greatly, however her plant play-style remains the same. This zyra item build will focus around items that grant utility and kill potential with her plant minions. since Zyra plants are such a big part of her entire kit, most core item will focus on this aspect.
- Garden of Thorns (Passive):
Zyra spawns seeds nearby every 11 / 10 / X / X seconds, occasionally spawning two at once. Seeds spawned by Garden of Thorns do not grant vision. Seeds prefer spawning in brush and cannot spawn too close together. Zyra can only have 8 seeds planted at a time, which last for 30 seconds.
Casting Deadly Spines or Grasping Roots causes nearby seeds to bloom into plants, which last for 5 – 7.5 (based on level)seconds and deal 29 – 114 (based on level) (+ 15% AP) magic damage per attack. Plants beyond the first attacking a single target deal only 50% (14.5 – 57 (based on level) (+ 7.5% AP)) damage.
- Deadly Spines (Q):
- COOLDOWN: 7 / 6.5 / 6 / 5.5 / 5
- MAGIC DAMAGE: 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 (+ 55% AP)
- sprouts thorny vines at the target location after a 0.625-second delay, dealing magic damage to enemies within the area.
GARDEN OF THORNS: If Deadly Spines hits a seed, a Thorn Spitter sprouts from it, attacking enemies with long-ranged attacks.
- Rampant Growth (W)
- 「 BONUS PLANT HEALTH: 0.4 / 0.8 / 1.2 / 1.6 / 2 」
Increases the maximum health of her plants and stores a seed periodically, up to a maximum of 2 stored at once.
ACTIVE: plants a seed at the target location for 60 seconds, granting sight of a small area around it. Up to 4 seeds can be planted at a time, and planting an additional seed destroys the oldest.
- Grasping Roots (E):
- COOLDOWN: 12
- MAGIC DAMAGE: 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 / 200 (+ 50% AP)
- ROOT DURATION: 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75
sends a surge of vines in the target direction, dealing magic damage to enemies hit and rooting them for a short duration.
GARDEN OF THORNS: If Grasping Roots hits a seed, a Vine Lasher sprouts from it, attacking enemies with short-ranged attacks that slow its target by 30% for 2 seconds.
- Hemoplague (R):
- COOLDOWN: 130 / 120 / 110
- MAGIC DAMAGE: 180 / 265 / 350(+ 70% AP)
summon a monstrous thicket at the target location, dealing magic damage to all enemies in the area as it expands. After 2 seconds, the vines snap upward, knocking up all enemies caught in the thicket for 1 second.
GARDEN OF THORNS: Plants within the thicket are enraged and deal 50% bonus damage.
Zyra Item Build
In this Zyra Build there are 2 specific items that will make you very powerful in game. Let’s start off with the first item you’ll be working your way towards, Morellos grants you the cooldown reduction to consistently poke down your enemy and gives you a huge damage boost because of this. You’ll be able to have an easier time avoiding ganks and dealing alot more damage than usual if you catch out your opponent.
by finishing your second item Rylai’s, you’ll create a much stronger presence with this Zyra item build due to the slow delaying your opponents. During team fights around 20-30 minutes in the game your team fight potential has potential to make a huge impact and can easily turn the tides of the battle. Using your Ultimate (R Ability) will create a zone where your enemies will not feel so enticed to entered. Imagine walking into a Gangplank ultimate. Yeah, it is just like that except you take much more damage if the Zyra Build has a Liandrys Torment in it.
To top of all of your items and maximize your damage you’ll need to pick up the Void Staff and an Elixir of Sorcery. This will enable you burst potential late game which helps alot more than you think. You’ll eventually get your final item in this zyra build should be either Luden’s Echo or Death Cap. I personally recommend you go Death Cap, the more damage you can deal will create you a hidden buff. That buff would be Champion Pressure, no one will over step a certain boundary because if they do you could pick them up quite easily.
Zyra Runes, there are fairly simple rune page. The early defensive stat help, but the Magic Pen mark runes are a must. The best way to top of any AP Carry rune page, is by giving them that extra flat 15 AP.
This zyra build make use of the thunderlords mastery, mainly how easy it is to proc with plant auto attacks. In this mastery page we have opt-ed to have dangerous game, merciless, assassin.
The Zyra build focus is around the plants, much like her skill order as well. (Q) is need since it best way to activate your seeds, landing a Q with some extra plant auto attack damage. Once you have rylai’s this will become even more effective.
