Where To Find Shaymin Land in BDSP

How To Get Shaymin In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl. Shaymin is a Legendary Grass Type Pokemon that has the ability to change its forme into its stronger Sky Forme. This method below was the method used to acquire Shaymin in the original 2006 version of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

Location: Flower Paradise

  1. Beat the game by defeating the Elite Four and battling the Champion.
  2. Make sure you have the National Pokedex.
  3. After getting Oak's Letter, go to the White Rock on Route 224, and speak to Professor Oak.
  4. The Shaymin will appear and run off down the long path, follow it.
  5. After you catch up with Shaymin in a flower field, interact with it to Battle it.

Shaymin can change into its stronger form called the Sky Forme. This can be achieved by using the item, Gracidea. Once in this form, Shaymin will revert back into its Land Forme from the following methods.

  • Any time after 7:59 PM, which is considered nightime, causes Shaymin to revert back.
  • If Shaymin gets the Frozen status effect.
  • It will revert its form when being deposited in the PC.
  • Being put into a Pokemon Daycare.

Below are the steps needed to acquire the Gracidea Item which can be used to temporarily change Shaymin's forme into its Sky Forme.

  1. First, find and capture Shaymin.
  2. Afterwards go to Floaroma Town
  3. When in town, speak to a lady standing in the road, she will say she wants to see a Shaymin.
  4. After showing her Shaymin, she will give you the Gracidea
