Ramanas Park in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is an area initially called the Pal Park in the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl 2006 release. Ramanas Park is accessible after you have obtained the National Pokdex; you will find Ramanas Park in Route 221.
Ramanas Park How To Get Slates Guide
At the entrance of the Ramanas Park there will be two vendors, the top vendor sells normal items, and the bottom vendor will sell you Slates. You can obtain these Slates by trading 3 Mysterious Shards or trading 1 Mysterious Shard L these are found while Mining in the Grand Underground. (Note: Mysterious Shard are a Rare Drop)
After you obtain a slate, within ramanas park you will head to the corresponding room and place the slate on the pedestal to begin the Legendary Pokemon Encounter. When you successfully capture a Legendary Pokemon, you will receive its statue, used in your secret base in the Grand Underground. After you purchase 3 Discovery Slates, NEW Slates will begin to appear in a predetermined order. You will need to purchase those new slates, one for each legendary it can summon until new slates appear.

After you have caught Regirock, Regice and Registeel you will gain access to the 2nd SlatesSoul Slate - Latias, Latios
Note: To Unlock the Distortion Slate you have to have caught Giratina in the Turnback Cave. When Held It allows Giratina to remain in its Origin Forme outside of the Distortion World.
