How To Get Moltres In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Moltres is a Legendary Bird Pokemon alongside Zapdos and Articuno.

Shining Pearl Exclusive Pokemon

  1. First obtain the Explorer Kit from the Old Man in Eterna City.
  2. Go underground, while in the Grand Underground you have a Rare chance while mining to mine a Mysterious Shard.
  3. After you have beat the game (Battling and Winning the Champion) - You will need 3 Mysterious Shards or 1 Mysterious Shard L to obtain the Kanto Slate.
  4. Travel to Ramanas Park located in Route 221, after you enter you can purchase the Kanto Slate from one of the Vendors.
  5. NOTE: You will need to purchase the current Slates available before new slates will appear in shop.
  6. Take the Kanto Slate to the corresponding room and place it on the pedestal, you will be transported and the Moltres encounter will begin. 1 Kanto Slate per encounter.
