Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Battle Tower Guide

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Battle Park. The Battle Park is a location inside the Battle Zone. It also houses the Battle Tower and, just as importantly the Exchange Service Corner. This location is only accessible after entering the Hall Of Fame by defeating the Elite Four and Champion Cynthia.

Pokemon BDSP Battle Tower

The Battle Tower is a tower that offers "battle challenges" to the player, one of these challenges is battling seven trainers one at a time. You can only enter this tower after you enter the Hall Of Fame by defeating Champion Cynthia. While inside the tower and completing challenges, you will be rewarded with battle points, Battle Points are exchanged for Items at the Exchange Service Corner in the Battle Park. The player can purchase items with Battle Points or "BP", this includes TMs, Vitamins, and held items. You can check the amount of BP you have by selecting your Point Card from your Key Items menu.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Exchange Service Corner

The Exchange Service Corner is a type of shop that uses Battle Points (BP) for currency. Battle Points can be acquired from the Battle Tower from doing challenges. Below is a list of all the items you can exchange your Battle Points for.

Most of these valuable items can only be found and obtained here, so a fair bit of grinding in the Battle Tower might be warranted.

How to earn Battle Points in Pokemon BDSP

Winning challenges in the Battle Tower awards you with BP; an example is the Standard Single Battle which the player must battle seven trainers- one after the other- who battle with three Pokemon at once. Defeating seven of these trainers means you win the challenge and are awarded Battle Points.

There are some Pokemon that are restricted and CAN NOT enter any of these challenges. These Pokemon are listed below; if you try to bring Rotom into one of these challenges in another form, it will return into its base form.

Eggs are unable to participate for obivious reasons. You can not bring more than one of the same Pokemon and cannot have your Pokemon hold more than one of the same item.

Battle Tower Challenges in Pokemon BDSP

The Battle Tower awards players "Goods" and "Ribbons" for completing certain conditions, and there are multiple prizes for specific challenges. Below is a list of Goods and Ribbons you can obtain from these challenges.

These Goods can be placed in your Underground Base in the Grand Underground for decoration purposes.

Ribbons are Items that are awarded to your Pokemon and be checked on the Info Menu. These stay on your Pokemon permanently, even when transferred to a different generation. They can be used to give your Pokemon a title when sent out into battle.
