Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Move Tutor Guide

There are two Move Tutors in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Move Tutors are NPCs that teach your Pokemon special moves that you cant get anywhere else. The locations of the Move Tutors and the Moves they teach will be listed below.

 

The Move Tutor who teaches Draco Meteor is an Old Woman in a building on Route 210. She will only teach it to a Dragon-Type Pokemon who has its Friendship maximized.

 

The Move Tutor who will teach one of the elemental versions of Hyper Beam to your fully-evolved Starter Pokemon is an Old Man found in a house on Route 228. He will only teach it the move if it has max Friendship. These different versions of Hyper Beam are Blast Burn, Frenzy Plant, and Hydro Cannon. The move's type will always be the Pokemon's primary type, meaning Blast Burn can only be taught to Infernape.
