Quiet ponds dot the last green approach to Blackthorn, the final stretch before the Ice Path swallows the trail.
Route 44 is in Johto, with Mahogany Town to the west. In the story it comes after Radio Tower and continues north to Ice Path.

A Red Apricorn for Kurt to shape into a Level Ball heads the long road to Blackthorn. A Carbos and a Max Revive sit along the way, with a hidden Elixir tucked off the trail.

TRAINERS
The long road to Blackthorn throws seven trainers at you, led by two Ace Trainers and two Fishermen. Fisherman Wilton and Bird Keeper Vance also take phone rematches later, so register their numbers if you want the extra fights.
