HeartGold & SoulSilver Route 7
Foot traffic packs the brief gateway road joining Celadon to Saffron. These are the busiest few steps in central Kanto.
Route 7 is in Kanto, with Saffron City to the east. In the story it comes after Route 5 and continues west to Celadon City.

Pokemon Encounters
Houndour prowls this route at 5 percent after dark, a rare Dark type and an early Houndoom if you hunt after sundown. The grass otherwise runs Growlithe in HeartGold against Meowth and Vulpix in SoulSilver, all at low levels near Celadon.
