The rocky shortcut between Route 29 and Dark Cave's mouth cuts down through dusty highland scrub.
Route 46 is in Johto, with Route 45 to the north and Route 29 to the south. In the story you arrive from Dark Cave to the north and it comes before Bell Tower.
