Emerald Route 126
The ring of ocean encircling Sootopolis, riddled with underwater trenches. Dive here and follow the seabed up into the crater city itself.
Route 126 is in Hoenn, with Route 124 to the north and Route 127 to the east. In the story it comes after Seafloor Cavern and continues north to Sootopolis City.

Pokemon Encounters
The dive water below Sootopolis matters for one fish: Relicanth at 5%, which paired with a Wailord cracks open the sealed Regi chambers. Clamperl at 65% and Chinchou fill the depths around it.

Route 126 Guide
No, and losing that split is a real perk. On one Emerald cartridge you can raise both Zangoose and Seviper, both halves of every version pair, with nothing to trade and no version column to check. A few species that skipped Ruby and Sapphire show up here too.
You'll want all of them. The three rods pull different fished species as you trade up from Old to Good to Super, Surf opens the surface water where Wingull and Sharpedo swim, and Dive reaches the underwater seaweed on Routes 124 to 126 where Clamperl and Relicanth live. Dive comes from the Mossdeep gym.
