Emerald Route 109
The wide beach just south of Slateport, where Mr. Briney drops you off after the boat ride. Sunbathers and the Seashore House snack bar line the sand.
Route 109 is in Hoenn. In the story you arrive from Route 108 to the west and continue north to Slateport City.

TRAINERS
The Slateport shore on Route 109 holds sixteen trainer battles once you count the Seashore House, mostly Tubers, Sailors, and Swimmers, with one Beauty for variety and no first-visit team above level 27. Their mostly Water teams fall fast to Grass or Electric, but the sheer count is the grind.
Route 109 Guide
No, and losing that split is a real perk. On one Emerald cartridge you can raise both Zangoose and Seviper, both halves of every version pair, with nothing to trade and no version column to check. A few species that skipped Ruby and Sapphire show up here too.
You'll want all of them. The three rods pull different fished species as you trade up from Old to Good to Super, Surf opens the surface water where Wingull and Sharpedo swim, and Dive reaches the underwater seaweed on Routes 124 to 126 where Clamperl and Relicanth live. Dive comes from the Mossdeep gym.
