Emerald Route 125

The waters northeast of Mossdeep, where the tide-locked mouth of Shoal Cave breaks the surface. Sharpedo patrol the deeper swells around it.

Route 125 is in Hoenn, with Route 124 to the west. In the story you arrive from Mossdeep City to the south and continue north to Shoal Cave.

Route 125 Guide

  • No, and losing that split is a real perk. On one Emerald cartridge you can raise both Zangoose and Seviper, both halves of every version pair, with nothing to trade and no version column to check. A few species that skipped Ruby and Sapphire show up here too.

  • You'll want all of them. The three rods pull different fished species as you trade up from Old to Good to Super, Surf opens the surface water where Wingull and Sharpedo swim, and Dive reaches the underwater seaweed on Routes 124 to 126 where Clamperl and Relicanth live. Dive comes from the Mossdeep gym.
