Emerald Ever Grande City

The last stop before the Pokemon League, an island of waterfalls with no shops or homes. Climb through Victory Road here and Champion Wallace waits at the very top.

Ever Grande City is in Hoenn, with Route 128 to the west. In the story you arrive from Victory Road to the north and it comes before Battle Frontier.

Two collector fish make the plateau base worth a cast: Luvdisc schooling on the rods and Corsola surfacing at 15% on the Super Rod. The rest is the Wailmer-and-Tentacool coast you know by now.

Ever Grande City Guide

  • Towns have no walkable grass, so the only wild Pokemon are out on the water. Surf or fish along a town's edge and you can pull Wingull, Tentacool, or Magikarp. A few towns hand you a Pokemon outright instead, like your starter in Littleroot and a Beldum at Steven's house in Mossdeep.

  • Lilycove tops the list, with the only full Department Store and the ferry that runs out to the Battle Frontier once you're Champion. Mossdeep hands you a free Beldum and fields a two-leader gym, and Slateport's market and shipyard keep pulling you back for story beats.
