Emerald Meteor Falls
A waterfall cavern tied to the meteorite Team Magma steals from Professor Cozmo. Push to the deepest chamber after the story and former Champion Steven is there, waiting for a rematch.
Meteor Falls is in Hoenn. In the story you arrive from Route 114 to the south and continue west to Route 115.
METEOR FALLS MAP
Most of Meteor Falls stays out of reach at first, blocked by an inner pool that needs Surf and a Waterfall you reach only later. The front hall is all an early visit offers.
Pokemon Encounters
Bagon cling to the upper chamber at 25%, the slow grind toward Salamence and the reason most trainers come. Solrock patrol the walking floors below. Barboach and Whiscash take the rods in the inner pool.

TRAINERS
Meteor Falls hides the toughest battle in Hoenn: Steven returns post-game with a level 78 team built around Metagross, a step above anything the League throws at you. The Dragon Tamers deeper in fold to Ice moves, but Steven is a different order entirely.
Meteor Falls Guide
Because Steven wants a rematch. After you enter the Hall of Fame, the former Champion sets up in a back room of Meteor Falls that you reach with Surf and Waterfall. His team runs about twenty levels above the Champion fight, which makes it one of the hardest battles in the whole game.
Deep in the back of Meteor Falls, past the waterfall you climb with the Waterfall HM, where it shows up fairly often. Bagon takes a while to raise but becomes Salamence, one of the strongest Pokemon in the game, so the long trip back pays off with a powerful late flyer.
