Emerald Route 130

Most days this is just calm, empty water on the run toward Pacifidlog. But every so often the elusive Mirage Island flickers into view, then slips away by morning.

Route 130 is in Hoenn, with Route 131 to the west. In the story you arrive from Route 129 to the east and continue north to Mirage Island.

Pokemon Encounters

East of Pacifidlog the swells hide Mirage Island on the right day, though the open water itself gives up only Sharpedo and Wailmer.

Route 130 Guide

  • No, and losing that split is a real perk. On one Emerald cartridge you can raise both Zangoose and Seviper, both halves of every version pair, with nothing to trade and no version column to check. A few species that skipped Ruby and Sapphire show up here too.

  • You'll want all of them. The three rods pull different fished species as you trade up from Old to Good to Super, Surf opens the surface water where Wingull and Sharpedo swim, and Dive reaches the underwater seaweed on Routes 124 to 126 where Clamperl and Relicanth live. Dive comes from the Mossdeep gym.
