Ruby & Sapphire Route 126
Below this wide reach of open water lies a vast underwater field. Dive down and follow the seafloor to the hidden entrance of Sootopolis City.
Route 126 is in Hoenn, with Route 124 to the north and Route 127 to the east. In the story it comes after Seafloor Cavern and continues north to Sootopolis City.

Route 126 Guide
Relicanth lives underwater, so dive on the dark patches around Routes 124 and 126 and search the seaweed, where it appears at about one in twenty. You can't hook it with a rod. Dive Balls work at full strength down there, so pack a few before you go looking.
They're the key to the Regi puzzle. In the Sealed Chamber you put Relicanth at the top of your party and Wailord at the bottom, then read the braille to unseal the three Regi caves. The order is reversed in Emerald, so use Relicanth-first only in Ruby and Sapphire.
Several routes do. Ruby drops Seedot and Zangoose into slots where Sapphire gives you Lotad and Seviper, and the caves split Mawile against Sableye. Check the version column before you spend an hour hunting something your copy can't catch. The rest of the species are shared.
Reach for the Super Rod on most routes, but two of Hoenn's prize catches ignore rods altogether. Feebas only bites on six hidden tiles of Route 119, and Relicanth comes from diving the seaweed off Routes 124 and 126, not from any rod. For the rest, the Super Rod pulls the deep-water species the Old and Good Rods can't reach.
