Ruby & Sapphire Route 120

An invisible Kecleon blocks the bridge here until Steven hands you the Devon Scope. Off the rainy grassland to the side, the Ancient Tomb keeps the steel golem Registeel sealed in the dark.

Route 120 is in Hoenn, with Ancient Tomb to the north and Route 121 to the east. In the story you arrive from Fortree City to the west and continue north to Scorched Slab.

Route 120 Guide

  • Several routes do. Ruby drops Seedot and Zangoose into slots where Sapphire gives you Lotad and Seviper, and the caves split Mawile against Sableye. Check the version column before you spend an hour hunting something your copy can't catch. The rest of the species are shared.

  • Reach for the Super Rod on most routes, but two of Hoenn's prize catches ignore rods altogether. Feebas only bites on six hidden tiles of Route 119, and Relicanth comes from diving the seaweed off Routes 124 and 126, not from any rod. For the rest, the Super Rod pulls the deep-water species the Old and Good Rods can't reach.
