Ruby & Sapphire Fortree City
Built high in the treetops and linked by rope bridges, Fortree trades streets for canopy. Winona's Flying-type gym is the prize, reached once the Devon Scope reveals the Kecleon blocking the way.
Fortree City is in Hoenn, with Route 119 to the west. In the story it comes after Weather Institute and continues east to Route 120.

On this visit an invisible Pokemon blocks the only way down to the Gym, so cross the treetops now and come back later.
- 1From Route 119, go east past the sign to the Trade House ladder.
- 2From the Trade House ladder, climb north onto the porches, go east over the rope bridges, climb south on the far ladder, then east to the edge. Cross into Route 120.
Fortree Gym
Then walk through the door of the Fortree Gym.
- Work through the rotating doors, fighting past the Bird Keepers, a Camper and a Picnicker.

- Walk back out through the door into Fortree City.

TRAINERS
Winona's Flying gym peaks around level 33 with an Altaria at its heart. Bring Electric, Rock, or Ice moves to bring the flock down, and expect Bird Keepers waiting on the rope bridges first.

Fortree City Guide
Most cities have a Contest Hall, a Pokemon Center with a trade corner upstairs, and a Mart. Slateport runs an open-air market, and Lilycove has the region's only Department Store plus a second Contest venue. Pokemon Centers heal you for free between gym attempts.
Not in the cities. You make one out on the routes by using the Secret Power move on a marked tree, bush, or cave wall. After that you furnish it with decorations sold in Lilycove and Slateport, and linked friends can drop by to see it.
