Ruby & Sapphire Route 127

Anglers and divers work the drop-offs here, a quiet leg of the long eastern haul toward Ever Grande.

Route 127 is in Hoenn, with Mossdeep City to the north and Route 126 to the west. In the story it comes after Shoal Cave and continues south to Route 128.

Just outside Ever Grande, Route 127 already pushes its Swimmers and Black Belts to level 45, a blunt warning of the League ahead. Treat this open water as the last real tune-up before the Elite Four.

Route 127 Guide

  • Several routes do. Ruby drops Seedot and Zangoose into slots where Sapphire gives you Lotad and Seviper, and the caves split Mawile against Sableye. Check the version column before you spend an hour hunting something your copy can't catch. The rest of the species are shared.

  • Reach for the Super Rod on most routes, but two of Hoenn's prize catches ignore rods altogether. Feebas only bites on six hidden tiles of Route 119, and Relicanth comes from diving the seaweed off Routes 124 and 126, not from any rod. For the rest, the Super Rod pulls the deep-water species the Old and Good Rods can't reach.
