Ruby & Sapphire Route 114
Downhill toward Meteor Falls lives Lanette, who built Hoenn's Pokemon Storage System. The grass along the way stages a version standoff: Zangoose in Ruby, Seviper in Sapphire.
Route 114 is in Hoenn. In the story you arrive from Fallarbor Town to the east and continue north to Meteor Falls.
ROUTE 114 MAP
Pokemon Encounters
Ruby trainers meet Zangoose in the grass while Sapphire gets Seviper, the two rivals split by version. Swablu at 40 percent starts the Altaria line, and Nuzleaf (Ruby) or Lombre (Sapphire) fills the route on the way to Meteor Falls.

Route 114 Guide
This is the richest split in the game. Ruby fills the grass with Seedot, Nuzleaf, and Zangoose; Sapphire gives you Lotad, Lombre, and Seviper in the same slots. Zangoose and Seviper sit around a one-in-five rate. If you want the other side's line, you'll have to trade for it.
Lanette lives on Route 114, and talking to her nets a Secret Base decoration tied to your version: a Seedot Doll in Ruby or a Lotad Doll in Sapphire. It's purely cosmetic, just a fun shelf piece for your base.
Several routes do. Ruby drops Seedot and Zangoose into slots where Sapphire gives you Lotad and Seviper, and the caves split Mawile against Sableye. Check the version column before you spend an hour hunting something your copy can't catch. The rest of the species are shared.
Reach for the Super Rod on most routes, but two of Hoenn's prize catches ignore rods altogether. Feebas only bites on six hidden tiles of Route 119, and Relicanth comes from diving the seaweed off Routes 124 and 126, not from any rod. For the rest, the Super Rod pulls the deep-water species the Old and Good Rods can't reach.
