Ruby & Sapphire Route 117
The Pokemon Day Care sits on this gentle meadow between Verdanturf and Mauville. Leave two Pokemon with the couple and one may hatch from an Egg when you return.
Route 117 is in Hoenn, with Mauville City to the east. In the story you arrive from Verdanturf Town to the west and it comes before Route 111.

Roselia at 30 percent is the standout, a Grass and Poison attacker with a deep movepool. The Volbeat and Illumise firefly pair both flit through the grass here, and the Day Care sits right on the route once you want to breed.

TRAINERS
Route 117 between Mauville and Verdanturf is one of the gentler stretches in Hoenn, its trainers topping out around level 18. Nothing here troubles a team fresh off the Mauville gym.

Several routes do. Ruby drops Seedot and Zangoose into slots where Sapphire gives you Lotad and Seviper, and the caves split Mawile against Sableye. Check the version column before you spend an hour hunting something your copy can't catch. The rest of the species are shared.
Reach for the Super Rod on most routes, but two of Hoenn's prize catches ignore rods altogether. Feebas only bites on six hidden tiles of Route 119, and Relicanth comes from diving the seaweed off Routes 124 and 126, not from any rod. For the rest, the Super Rod pulls the deep-water species the Old and Good Rods can't reach.
