Ruby & Sapphire Dewford Town
Brawly leads a Fighting-type gym from inside a pitch-dark cave on this tiny island town. You arrive by Mr. Briney's ferry, and the local Trend keeps all of Hoenn chattering.
Dewford Town is in Hoenn, with Route 107 to the east. In the story you arrive from Route 106 to the north and it comes before Granite Cave.

Pokemon Encounters
Dewford is fishing-only Tentacool and Wailmer with Wingull on the surf, so the gym and Granite Cave next door are the real reason to stop.

TRAINERS

Dewford Town Guide
Most cities have a Contest Hall, a Pokemon Center with a trade corner upstairs, and a Mart. Slateport runs an open-air market, and Lilycove has the region's only Department Store plus a second Contest venue. Pokemon Centers heal you for free between gym attempts.
Not in the cities. You make one out on the routes by using the Secret Power move on a marked tree, bush, or cave wall. After that you furnish it with decorations sold in Lilycove and Slateport, and linked friends can drop by to see it.
