Fearow Weakness
Type-wise, Fearow takes extra damage from Electric, Ice, and Rock. Ground and Ghost moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. At base 100 Speed, Fearow outspeeds most threats and doesn't need to tank what it can outrun.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Electric, Ice, Rock |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Grass, Bug |
| 0x (Immune) | Ground, Ghost |
- Only 15 types exist — Dark, Steel, and Fairy are absent
- Ghost has no effect on Psychic (a known bug, fixed in Gen II)
- Special stat governs both offense and defense — no Sp.Atk / Sp.Def split

Fearow Yellow Guide
In Yellow, Fearow can work for a story run. It rates C-Tier, a middle-of-the-pack pick, so the Normal/Flying typing decides whether it earns a team slot.
In Yellow, Fearow plays as a pivot. It outspeeds most threats, so it can pressure opponents before they move. Set up with Agility when you get a free turn.
