Exeggutor Weakness
Exeggutor's Grass/Psychic typing leaves it vulnerable to Bug, Fire, Ice, Poison, and Flying. Bug hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Exeggutor's special bulk (base 125 Special) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Bug |
| 2x (Weak) | Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Water, Electric, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Psychic |
| 0x (Immune) | Ghost |
- Only 15 types exist — Dark, Steel, and Fairy are absent
- Ghost has no effect on Psychic (a known bug, fixed in Gen II)
- Special stat governs both offense and defense — no Sp.Atk / Sp.Def split
