Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Byron is a Gym Leader whose party consists of Steel Pokemon. This means Byron is weak against Fighting, Ground, Fire Pokemon, since in battle Byron will use Bronzor(Lv.36), Steelix(Lv.36), Bastiodon(Lv.39), in Pokemon BDSP.

How to find and battle Byron in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Byron is Canalave City's Gym Leader who uses Steel type Pokemon, and defeating him will give you the Mine Badge, allowing you to use Strength from the Poketch.

  1. Go to Canalave City and enter the Gym.
  2. From here, follow the path to the east of the room and go up the elevator located in the corner.
  3. The way will be straightforward until you come across two platforms going either north or east; take the north path.
  4. Use the platform towards the north of the room and continue the straightforward path to face Byron.

Gym Leaders can be rematched after defeating the Elite Four, Champion Cynthia, and obtaining the National Pokedex. You can also challenge the Leaders once every day; their teams will be much stronger, sporting new Pokemon and higher levels. They are also fully EV and IV trained and require a bit of a strategy to deal with.
