Where to find and battle the 2nd Gym Leader Gardenia in Pokemon BDSP
How to find and battle Gardenia in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Gardenia is Eterna City's Gym Leader who uses Grass type Pokemon, and defeating her will give you the Forest Badge, allowing you to use Cut from the Poketch.

- Go to Eterna City.
- Head inside the gym located below the Pokemart.
- Once inside, speak to Gardenia, who will tell you to find and defeat all the Pokemon trainers in the gym.
- The first trainer is located near the northwest corner in a dead-end path behind a tree.
- In the southwest corner is the second trainer found in a dead-end path, once again behind a tree.
- The third trainer is found behind three small trees located near the middle of the gym, a little to the east.
- Located north towards the back of the room, take the path to the right near the entrance, the fourth and last trainer will be hiding behind a tree.
- From here, you can go to the central part of the gym and face Gardenia in the back.
Gym Leaders can be rematched after defeating the Elite Four, Champion Cynthia, and obtaining the National Pokedex. You can also challenge the Leaders once every day; their teams will be much stronger, sporting new Pokemon and higher levels. They are also fully EV and IV trained and require a bit of a strategy to deal with.

Gardenia is a Grass Type Trainer. This will mean Gardenia's Pokemon are weak against and take More Damage from , Poison, Bug, Fire, Ice Type Moves, and Less Damage from Ground, Water, Grass, Electric Type moves.
