Marowak Weakness
Water, Grass, and Ice moves hit Marowak for super-effective damage. The upside? Electric-type moves can't touch it at all. Lightning Rod grants an additional Electric immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Marowak's physical bulk (base 110 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

Don't skip the egg moves. Marowak picks up Ancient Power and Belly Drum only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Earthquake and Dig while coverage across 9 types adds range.

A MAROWAK is the evolved form of a CUBONE that has grown tough by overcoming the grief of losing its mother. Its tempered and hardened spirit is not easily broken.
Marowak Emerald Guide
Marowak isn't catchable in Emerald. Catch one in FireRed or LeafGreen, then trade it to Emerald.
In Emerald, Marowak is one of the stronger picks around. It rates A-Tier for this generation, and the Ground typing with 425 BST covers a lot of matchups.
Marowak has an Alolan form that swaps the typing and reshuffles the stats. Introduced in Gen 7. Worth checking if the original version doesn't fit your team.
In Emerald, use Marowak as a balanced. Physical side carries the damage. Not the fastest, Earthquake is the primary attack.
For Emerald, run Adamant on Marowak. +Attack is what matters, and the -Sp. Atk cut doesn't hurt this set. Fits the balanced role.
Game Availability
Marowak first appeared in Red & Blue and spans 20 games across 9 generations. It later gained an Alolan form in Generation 7, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
