HeartGold & SoulSilver Viridian Forest
Bug catchers prowl the maze of trees between Viridian and Pewter, replanted thick enough to wander again, nets ready for whatever rustles the leaves.
Viridian Forest is in Kanto, with its entrance on Route 2. In the story it comes after Pallet Town and before Route 21.

TRAINERS
Viridian Forest is back to its roots as a Bug Catcher haunt, but this is post-game Kanto, so the five trainers here field Butterfree, Beedrill, and Ariados from the mid-40s up to level 60. Abner even breaks the bug theme with a Pikachu.
