Kayn Item Build

Kayn's whole item plan forks on his form, and the Abyss sharpens the choice. The Rhaast path buys sustain and bruiser stats to drain health back through a grind with no fountain to visit, while the Shadow Assassin path buys the burst to delete a squishy before enemy peel can close ranks. Either way the nonstop brawl fills his orb fast enough that the spike lands early.

Dark Harvest supports the way Kayn snowballs on the Abyss, feeding on the endless fighting to finish his transformation and take over. Starving Shadow Step costs less on the Abyss than it looks, since the mode gives the Shadow Assassin form a 7 second cooldown while the ability waits for ranks at 14 and beyond. Reaping Slash takes the payoff at 4, 5, 7 and 9 with a 95 percent bonus AD ratio per hit.
