Crystal Mt. Silver
Past Victory Road rises Johto's most forbidding peak, the final challenge where Red waits in total silence at the summit for the ultimate battle.
Mt. Silver is in Johto. In the story you arrive from Route 28 to the south.
MT. SILVER MAP
Mt. Silver is the toughest trek in either region, a cave-and-mountain sprawl that wants Flash to see by, Surf to cross its water, and Waterfall to scale its heights.
Pokemon Encounters
Mt. Silver is the endgame wild, teams pushing past level 45. Larvitar climbs toward Tyranitar here at single-digit odds, Pupitar haunts the deeper rooms at 1 percent, and Misdreavus drifts the halls only at night.

Mt. Silver Guide
Mt. Mortar is the big change. Its halls were dark in Gold and Silver, but Crystal brightened them, so Flash is no longer needed to get through. Two caves still go pitch black, Dark Cave and Kanto's Rock Tunnel, and the move only works outdoors once you hold the Zephyr Badge.
