Crystal Goldenrod City
Johto's biggest city, where Whitney and her infamously stubborn Miltank stop most trainers cold at the Normal-type gym beside the Radio Tower.
Goldenrod City is in Johto, with Route 35 to the north and Radio Tower to the north. In the story you arrive from Route 34 to the south and continue through its entrance to Goldenrod Underground.

Pokemon Encounters
The Goldenrod Game Corner is the real catch here, trading coins for Abra, Cubone, Wobbuffet, and an Eevee you cannot find wild in Johto. The harbor water is plain Krabby and Corsola.

Goldenrod City Guide
Goldenrod is home to the series' first Move Tutor. He visits on Wednesdays and Saturdays and charges 4,000 Game Corner coins per lesson, so stock up on coins first. He only sets up shop once you've beaten the Elite Four.
