How do I get the ExtremeSpeed Dratini in the Dragon's Den in Crystal?

The Dragon Shrine stayed shut in Gold and Silver, but Crystal reopens it. After you beat Clair, the clan elder inside quizzes you on how you battle. Answer every question the way he likes and the gift Dratini he gives knows ExtremeSpeed, a move it can't learn any other way this generation. Get one wrong and you still get the Dratini, just with Leer in that slot instead.

Crystal Dragon's Den

Behind Blackthorn lies the Dragon clan's sacred cavern, where an elder tests challengers and rewards a Dratini to anyone who answers his quiz correctly.

Dragon's Den is in Johto. In the story you arrive from Blackthorn City to the south and it comes before Route 45.

DRAGON'S DEN MAP

Out past Blackthorn, the Dragon's Den is a wide pool you cross by Surf, with a Whirlpool clearing the route to the shrine on its far island, a chamber Gold and Silver kept sealed and Crystal finally opens.

Pokemon Encounters

Behind Blackthorn, Dragon's Den is where you stock up on Dratini. One is handed over outright, and Surf plus the rods turn up more, with Dragonair waiting on the Super Rod at 10 percent.
