Spearow Weakness
Electric, Ice, and Rock moves hit Spearow for super-effective damage. The upside? Ground and Ghost-type moves can't touch it at all.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Electric, Ice, Rock |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Grass, Bug |
| 0x (Immune) | Ground, Ghost |
- Only 15 types exist — Dark, Steel, and Fairy are absent
- Ghost has no effect on Psychic (a known bug, fixed in Gen II)
- Special stat governs both offense and defense — no Sp.Atk / Sp.Def split

Moves List
Without TMs, Spearow's movepool is bare bones. With them, you get limited coverage on top of Sky Attack and Double-Edge for STAB. The natural kit handles basics, but TMs are doing the real work.

Spearow Red & Blue Guide
In Red & Blue, Spearow does the job early-game if you need a Normal/Flying type on your team. Evolve it into Fearow before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
