Platinum Victory Road
One last cave gauntlet stands between you and the Pokemon League. Tough wild Pokemon and a final showdown with Barry wait in the dark before the Plateau steps.
Victory Road is in Sinnoh, with Route 224 to the east and Route 223 to the south. In the story you arrive from Pokémon League to the north and it comes before Fight Area.
VICTORY ROAD MAP
Platinum widens the cave mouth into a five-tile arch, but the three-level climb behind it still demands the full set of field moves. You Surf, smash rocks, shove boulders with Strength, and scale a Waterfall before the exit, with Rock Climb left for a post-game branch.
Pokemon Encounters
The final cave throws strong Pokemon at you the whole way. Gabite and Steelix both lurk at 5 percent, a near-grown Garchomp and a heavy Steel-type for anyone still building. The water hides a 10 percent Lapras for surfers who detour, and Magikarp and Gyarados take the rods.
