Platinum Iron Island

Off Canalave's docks lies Iron Island, a hollowed-out ore mine. Riley joins you for the tour and hands over a Riolu Egg, while Registeel waits behind a sealed door deep inside.

Iron Island is in Sinnoh. In the story you arrive from Canalave City to the west and it comes before Lake Valor.

IRON ISLAND MAP

This Canalave mine sinks several levels under an open shore, the descent blocked by boulders that call for Strength and rubble for Rock Smash, with Surf ringing the island outside.

Pokemon Encounters

A trainer hands you a Riolu egg inside the mine, the prize most visitors come for. The grass runs heavy on Graveler, with Steelix prowling at 10 percent and the pair Sableye and Mawile both at 8 percent. Registeel sits sealed deeper in, once Regigigas is awake.
