Platinum Old Chateau
Far at the back of Eterna Forest, the Old Chateau rots in silence, its halls hung with dusty portraits and a TV that flickers on its own. After dark, Rotom haunts that very set.
Old Chateau is in Sinnoh, with Eterna Forest to the south. In the story it comes after Eterna City and before Route 206.
OLD CHATEAU MAP
An old manor at the edge of Eterna Forest, two levels of unlit rooms and hallways you wander freely, no field move needed.
Pokemon Encounters
Gastly fills the manor at 100 percent, but two real catches hide inside. A wild Gengar turns up at 4 percent, unusual for a fully evolved Ghost, and an old television in the back holds Rotom, a level 20 encounter that only appears at night.

Old Chateau Guide
Rotom turns up at Level 20 from the flickering TV in the Old Chateau at night, with no National Pokedex needed in Platinum, so you get it far sooner than in Diamond and Pearl. There the same encounter is locked behind the National Dex and Rotom is only Level 15. The Legendary battle theme plays in both games when you interact with the screen.
