Platinum Lake Valor

Team Galactic's boldest stroke plays out here: a bomb that drains the entire lake to flush out Azelf, the spirit of willpower. You drop into the crater after to face Commander Saturn.

Lake Valor is in Sinnoh, with Valor Lakefront to the north. In the story it comes after Iron Island and before Route 211.

LAKE VALOR MAP

Pokemon Encounters

Azelf is the headline, a level 50 encounter for whoever reaches the cave under the lake. Around the shore the Pokeradar is the tool that matters, drawing Wobbuffet out at 22 percent where the ordinary grass only offers Staravia and Bibarel.
