Platinum Valor Lakefront
Hotels and lakeside shops crowd the Valor Lakefront, the resort strip fronting Lake Valor. Team Galactic seals the whole area off before steering you down to the lake itself.
Valor Lakefront is in Sinnoh, with Lake Valor to the north, Route 214 to the north, and Route 222 to the north. In the story it comes after Ruin Maniac Tunnel and continues south to Route 213.

Pokemon Encounters
Lakeside grass before Pastoria stays ordinary by day, mostly Staravia and Bibarel. Houndour doubles to 20 percent once night falls, and chaining the Pokeradar is how you turn up the Nidorino and Nidorina pair at 11 percent.

A Sun Stone tucked nearby evolves a Gloom into Bellossom or a Sunkern into Sunflora. Dream Eater (TM85) drains sleeping foes, and a White Flute lures stronger wild Pokemon if you want a fight.

A large and rare mushroom. It is very popular among certain maniacal fan segments.
TRAINERS
Nineteen trainers gather on the lakefront before Pastoria, one of the bigger crowds on the map, Galactic Grunts mixed with the usual route classes and none past the low 30s.
