The Marbled Gohma is the boss of the Fire Temple, and much like most main bosses has two phases during its fight meaning it changes its attack patterns midway through the fight. Before engaging with Marbled Gohma, make sure you have some- if you don't already have it- Flamebreaker Armor and some hard-hitting weapons. If you are unable to get the armor, make sure to have plenty of fireproof elixirs and healing food on hand for the fight. Below, we will explain how to defeat the Marbled Gohma, its attack patterns, and the location of the Fire Temple on a map. Before fighting Marbled Gohma, we once again recommend packing enough food and elixirs for the fight- you can also do some more damage by attaching an Opal to any of your weapons. When the fight begins, keep your distance while it stomps around or it will damage you. You won't be able to damage Gohma due to the shell protecting its body but you can knock Gohma down by using Yunobo's ability and aiming him at it's legs. The monster's weak spot is its eye which can be found on its back, so do all you can to attack it after climbing onto Gohma once it's knocked down. While fighting Gohma it will throw rocks at you which you can send back at it by using the Recall Ability or destroy them by sending Yunobo into them. Continue this until reaching phase two. While in Phase Two, Gohma will now be on the ceiling. You can knock it off by sending Yunobo up the curved walls into its legs, once it lands you can continue to attack its eye just like before. However, Gohma now has a new attack, it will send rocks at you that will surround Link. You can escape by using the Recall Ability on one of them and running through the gap- be warned if you stand there for too long, the rocks will cause a massive explosion that will do a lot of damage if you aren't prepared. Continue to attack Gohma until you defeat it.
