  • Stalnoxes Overview:
When encountering a Stalnox, you will most likely find it as a pile of bones, Stalnoxes are only active at night, between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Unless underground where they are always awake or can be awoken. They will not become active if you are too close when night falls. If morning arrives while you are fighting a Stalnox, it will dig underground, fleeing the fight until the next night.

  • Combat Behavior:
Like their living counterparts, Stalnoxes will chase you, attempting to smash or trap you between their hands. They can pick up trees to throw at you. they can remove their ribs, collarbone, and even an arm to throw at you. They can also dig up Bomb Barrels that explode on contact. If any object is thrown, you can use the recall ability to return it back to the Stalnox and deal damage.

  • Weakness and Strategy:
Firing an arrow directly into a Stalnox's eye will momentarily incapacitate it, presenting an opportunity for you to strike. However, when its health drops below half, an arrow shot to the eye will cause it to pop out, leading to the Stalnox crumbling into a heap of bones for a brief period. You can seize this opportunity to either attack the detached eyeball or pick it up and toss it. Over time, the eye will spring back to the Stalnox. If you use a Bomb Arrow to hit the eyeball, it will be instantly dislodged regardless of the Stalnox's remaining health.
  • Victory Conditions:
Once the eye has lost all of its health, you can also take the eye far enough away from the Stalnox's initial location, the Stalnox will be defeated.
  • Stalnox: The standard Stalnox.
  • Gloom Stalnox: Has more health than its normal counterpart and causes Gloom Damage to Link's Hearts. This can be negated with proper equipment and food.
