How to get the Genome Slate in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The Genome Slate is an item used to summon the Legendary Pokemon Mewtwo when used at the correct pedestal in Ramanas Park.

  1. First, obtain the Explorer Kit.
  2. From here, go to the Grand Underground.
  3. While mining, you have a rare chance to obtain Mysterious Shard L and Mysterious Shard S. You can exchange these at Ramanas Park for the Genome Slate.
  4. After you have taken the slate to the correct pedestal and placed it, you will be able to begin an encounter with Mewtwo Legendary Pokemon.
