SOJOURN HERO COUNTERS

Railgun charged headshot is a one-hit kill on most heroes. Sojourn builds charge by landing primary fire on any target, then stores it for the perfect headshot on whoever peeks. Dive her. Winston and D.Va close distance faster than she can charge a lethal Railgun, and her Disruptor Shot slow field doesn't stop dive heroes who have gap closers. Power Slide is her only mobility and it's predictable.

  • Winston, D.Va, and Domina are Sojourn's worst matchups. Winston dives her with Tesla Cannon that doesn't require aim, negating Sojourn's range advantage. D.Va flies into her face and eats Railgun with Defense Matrix. Domina barrier segments block her sightlines and Crystal Charge closes the gap.

  • Sojourn sits at D Tier right now with a 44.7% win rate and 12.8% pick rate across all ranks. Below average in the current patch. You can still win with Sojourn but the meta favors other damages.

  • Dive or outsnipe. Sojourn dominates mid-range but loses at point blank (low DPS without Railgun) and at extreme range (Widowmaker wins). Force Power Slide early and track the 6-second cooldown. She's stuck without it.

  • Primary fire needs hits to build Railgun charge, so if Sojourn misses her tracking, she never gets to the one-shot. Against dive targets she has to choose between building charge and using Disruptor Shot for self-defense. Power Slide covers limited distance.

  • Winston ignores Disruptor Shot slow with Jump Pack and zaps her inside bubble. D.Va boosts through Railgun charge attempts and matrix eats the payoff shot. Domina Crystal Charge reaches her perch and barrier segments deny the sightline.

  • Widowmaker outscopes Sojourn at extreme range. Hanzo Storm Bow one-shots from angles she can't charge fast enough to answer. Genji Deflect sends Railgun back if she fires predictably. Vendetta closes with Soaring Slice past Disruptor Shot.

  • Lucio Speed Boost helps the team close range past Disruptor Shot slow. Moira Fade escapes Railgun sightlines and Biotic Grasp auto-tracks at ranges where Sojourn's primary accuracy matters more.
