HAZARD HERO COUNTERS

Jagged Wall controls space on any surface, including walls and ceilings. Hazard places it to funnel enemies into Bonespur range, then Violent Leap gap-closes with a melee slash. Ashe and Sojourn punish him from ranges where Bonespur spread wastes most damage. Doomfist Rocket Punch counters Violent Leap mid-animation. Spike Guard blocks frontal damage and retaliates with spikes, so flank him or use beam weapons that ignore the block.

Hazard's top counters are Ashe, Doomfist, and Brigitte.

COUNTER MATRIX

FAQ

  • Ashe and Doomfist are Hazard's hardest counters. Ashe fights from ranges Bonespur can't touch and Dynamite burns past Spike Guard. Doomfist Rocket Punch catches Hazard during Violent Leap startup and the stun cancels his mobility. Winston Tesla Cannon auto-damages through Spike Guard since it's not a projectile.

  • Hazard sits at B Tier right now with a 53.1% win rate and 2.7% pick rate across all ranks. Solid but not dominant. Works well in the right hands and team comps.

  • Play around Jagged Wall. It's static once placed and forces enemies to path around it. If you already know where the wall is, take a different angle. Spike Guard blocks frontal damage and retaliates, so beam weapons and flanks get past it. Violent Leap has a noticeable wind-up that's easy to CC.

  • Hazard's Bonespur shotgun spread makes him weak at range. Past 15 meters his damage drops off like Reaper. Vault passive gives wall climb but it's short-duration, not permanent flight. Spike Guard only blocks from the front, so cross-angle fire melts him. Jagged Wall can also be destroyed if teams focus it.

  • Doomfist Rocket Punch interrupts Violent Leap and his combo bursts through Spike Guard's frontal block by hitting from angle. Winston Tesla Cannon bypasses Spike Guard because it's not a projectile. Sigma fights from behind Experimental Barrier at ranges where Bonespur spread wastes bullets.

  • Ashe Dynamite ignores Spike Guard positioning and burns Hazard wherever he stands. Sojourn Railgun charges off his large hitbox and kills from outside Bonespur range. Sombra hack strips Spike Guard and Jagged Wall simultaneously, leaving him exposed.

  • Lucio Speed Boost helps the team reposition around Jagged Wall placement. Brigitte Shield Bash interrupts Violent Leap mid-animation. Lifeweaver Petal Platform lifts teammates over Jagged Wall entirely.
