KIRIKO HERO COUNTERS

Protection Suzu is what makes Kiriko frustrating. It cleanses every debuff, grants brief invulnerability, and has a short enough cooldown to cover most pushes. Bait it before committing your resources. Swift Step teleports her to allies, giving her an escape most supports lack. The trick is catching her between teleport targets or hacking her before Suzu deploys.

  • Widowmaker is Kiriko's hardest counter. One headshot kills before Swift Step can react, and Widow plays from distances where Kiriko's kunai accuracy drops. Pharah rockets from above where kunai are nearly impossible to land. Torbjorn turret auto-tracks her during Swift Step animations.

  • Kiriko sits at B Tier right now with a 46.7% win rate and 0.0% pick rate across all ranks. Solid but not dominant. Works well in the right hands and team comps.

  • Force Suzu early, then engage. Protection Suzu has a 14-second cooldown. If you bait it with a non-critical push, her team loses cleanse for the next real fight. Track Swift Step targets too. She can only teleport to allies within 35 meters, so if her team is scattered, she has fewer escape options.

  • Kiriko's healing output per second is lower than Ana or Baptiste when she's not hitting headshots with kunai. Her ofuda healing is slow and requires line of sight. She's also one of the harder supports to play mechanically because kunai are projectiles with travel time that demand precise aim for value.

  • D.Va eats kunai with Defense Matrix and pressures Kiriko off high ground. Winston dives her and forces Swift Step early, then chases the teleport with Jump Pack. Hazard Jagged Wall cuts off Swift Step paths between her and teammates.

  • Widowmaker one-shots before Swift Step can activate. Sombra hack cancels both Swift Step and Suzu, leaving Kiriko as a 200 HP target with slow projectile healing and no escape. Pharah pressure from above makes kunai near-impossible to aim upward.

  • Lifeweaver competes with Kiriko by pulling teammates with Life Grip before Suzu is needed. Brigitte Shield Bash interrupts her healing rhythm and Inspire provides passive healing that doesn't need the mechanical skill Kiriko demands.
