What's New in Season 1 D4

Here are the exciting additions waiting for you in Season 1:

  • New Questline (Stand Against The Malignant) - Partner with Cormond, a former priest of the Cathedral of Light, and uncover the source of the spreading Malignance and unlock a NEW merchant.
  • Malignant Hearts - Defeat corrupted enemies and harness their Malignant Hearts. Over 30 new Malignant Powers are yours for the taking and can be socket in gear to create entirely new builds.
  • New Boss Battle - Venture into the Malignant Tunnels, confront Varshan the Consumed, and unveil the secrets of the Malignance.
  • New Gear - Find 6 new Unique items and earn 7 new Legendary aspects throughout your Season Journey.
  • Season Content and Battle Pass Access - Log onto the game, create a new Seasonal character and jump right into the Season. Premium and Accelerated Battle Passes offer additional rewards.

Remember, after the season ends, your character and their progress are transferred to the Eternal Realm, where you can continue your adventure, albeit without specific Season-only features.

Season 1 Mechanic Malignant Hearts

Season 1 introduces the powerful and enigmatic mechanic of the Malignant Hearts. These powerful artifacts, extracted from the Monsters themselves, which can be used to make new powerful builds.
