D4 Nightmare and Torment Dungeon Affixes

Nightmare Sigils in Diablo 4 are special items that apply affixes to normal dungeons, transforming them into Nightmare Dungeons. These affixes can have both positive and negative effects on your gameplay. The number of affixes applied by a sigil increases with the sigil's level. For instance, a level 1-10 sigil provides three affixes (one positive and two negatives), a level 11-20 sigil provides four affixes, and from level 21 onwards, you'll have to deal with five affixes.

Good Dungeon Affixes

Positive affixes from Nightmare Sigils can provide a variety of benefits to enhance your character's performance in the dungeon. There are also situational positive affixes that provide direct increases to your elemental damage. These affixes are particularly useful for spellcasters like the Sorcerer, Necromancer, and Druid.

Bad Dungeon Affixes

Every Nightmare Sigil also comes with negative affixes that increase the dungeon's difficulty. These negative affixes require strategic gameplay to overcome, often involving smart positioning of your character and sometimes specific elemental resistances or the use of Elixirs.
