Master Kohga is a returning boss from Breath of The Wild and this time, he has some new tricks up his sleeve. You can find Master Kohga in two different locations for two fights, and before you fight him we recommend preparing with the proper gear, Hearts, and, of course, extra food. Below we will be going over both of his boss fights and where you can find him. When you first encounter Kogha, after learning the Rebuild Ability in the Great Abandoned Central Mine, you can find the location of the Mine, above. Whilst talking to some disguised Yiga- afterward they will call Master Kogha and you will begin your first fight with him out in the courtyard right "outside" the facility. Once the battle starts, Master Kohga will create a vehicle that he will use to try to run Link over. The first thing you should try to do is to stun him, you can do this by shooting him with an arrow, or, if you're fast you can try to climb up on his vehicle from the side and hit him with a weapon. Another way is when he's low on health, during this, he will try to hit you at full speed with his vehicle but if you dodge in time he will run into the barrier surrounding the arena stunning himself. You can then take your opportunity to strike. When he's stunned use your strongest weapons on him to do as much damage as you can. Be aware; when he's low on health he will put up a shield to protect himself from head-on arrow strikes. He will sometimes summon a boulder to drop on you, you can simply dodge it by running to the side. However, Master Kohga is not done yet. After the first encounter, he will make his way to his second location in the Abandoned Gerudo Mine, you can find the location of the Mine in the image above. Before beginning, we do recommend helping the Rito and gaining Tulin's ability which will help greatly for movement in this battle. In this battle, Master Kohga will be using a vehicle to fly around like a plane, and while he does this he will fly above you to shoot you with flames. To counteract this, you can fly up to his level by using the loose Zonai Fans lying around to give you a gust into the air, and while up there, shoot Kohga with an Arrow to stun him. While he's stunned, hurry to his location and attack him with your strongest weapons. Repeat this process until you defeat him. Master Kohga is once again back for more, this time in the Abandoned Lanayru Mine which you can find a marked location on the map above. Before heading off to fight him, we recommend helping the Gorons and gaining Yunobo's Ability as it will help greatly in this fight. In this battle you will find yourself on a boat that you will be sailing towards Master Kohga and the two Yiga Soldiers protecting him- you can shoot Yunobo at your enemies to defeat them and also stun Master Kohga, and whilst he's stunned, hit him with your strongest weapons and repeat the process until you defeat him. Here we are for our final encounter with Master Kohga, and this time you will find him in the Abandoned Hebra Mine which you can gain access to from within Rito Village, we've marked the location of the Mine on the map above. At first, you won't be able to damage him due to the shield barrier he has put around himself. However, there are multiple ways to lower his shields by using the attacks he uses against him. One of them is the homing bombs, he will summon three of them that he sends towards you- shooting them will cause them to explode which can damage his shields if close enough. The next is the Construct's Laser Beams that you can stop by hitting the Construct into the electrified barriers around the arena- this will stun it temporarily. Whenever you have the opportunity to hit him into the barriers, we recommend it for the high damage it causes to him.
