Punching moves boosted by AbilityIron Fist sound good on paper, but Ledian's 35 base Attack makes that boost almost meaningless. Six generations near the very bottom. This moveset tries Held ItemWeakness Policy with NatureAdamant and punching moves, though the stats fight back harder than anything it faces.
35 base Attack in Gen II (Gold & Silver). One of the lowest on any fully evolved Pokemon. 110 Sp. Def was the one bright spot on a dim stat sheet.

Ledian's special bulk (base 110 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Ledian Guide
Ledian's biggest threats include Aerodactyl (Rock), Charizard (Fire), and Raikou (Electric), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Aerodactyl is the most dangerous since Rock moves deal 4x damage. Ice and Flying-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Honestly, Ledian is a tough sell at 390 BST. Plenty of stronger Bug/Flying options exist. Fun pick, not a practical one.
